
Jennifer Hill was born, raised and schooled in Pennington, New Jersey. She attended Skidmore College, followed by the San Francisco Art Institute where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting with a concentration in Film and Installation.She has been a full-time and freelance editor; writer; cabinetmaker and refinisher's apprentice; an intern at the Smithsonian in the music archives; a coordinator of the National Tour of Solar Homes (Northeast), Tour de Sol, an electric vehicle road rally, a solar-powered music festival and sustainability conference; an on-air radio personality for both commercial and university stations and an art book publisher's assistant. She is currently a full-time mom to one-year old Helen Hill Knapp in Los Angeles, California and is working on a book of musical shapes with Brazilian composer Luiz Gayotto, and "Man Eating Sandwich", a short film to be shown Labor Day weekend.
